The GW990 marked the arrival of Intel in the world of smartphones by equipping the GW990 its Moorestown processor (45nm engraving). The terminal ran under GNU / Linux Moblin with a touch interface S-Class.

The LG GW990 is equipped with a 4.8 inch touch screen for impressive resolution of 1020 x 480 pixels and a 720p HD TV output. It is capable of playing videos in HD and run 3D games.
